Question 1

Are these medical illustrations accurate?

Accepted Answer

Each diagram is drawn to show the structures that carry meaning at teaching size, then reviewed against standard anatomy references. They are intended for education, presentation, and study — not for diagnosis or clinical decision-making.

Question 2

Can I use these illustrations for free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every illustration in the library can be viewed, downloaded, and used in teaching materials, presentations, and coursework at no cost. Exports are available as SVG and PNG.

Question 3

Can I use them in my lectures and handouts?

Accepted Answer

That is the intended use. Every figure is drawn on a 16:9 canvas sized for slide decks, so it drops straight into a lecture presentation. SVG scales without loss for print handouts, and the unlabeled version works for quizzes and worksheets.

Question 4

How should I describe a structure to get an accurate result?

Accepted Answer

Name the structure, the view you want, and the level of detail — for example "cross-section of the heart showing the four chambers and valves, labeled". Naming the specific parts you need labeled gives the most usable result.
